PSALMS 91 || HE THAT DWELLETH… BOOM!

Psalms 91, is a passage that many in the body of Christ runs to for protection but can I shock you… it is not for everyone, you have to dwell first, he that dwelleth

The word dwelleth means to abide, to sit down, to stay in a place where one has been occupying as a permanent resident…it’s not come and go or a place to visit when you feel like, its staying.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. Psalms 91:1

What verse one of Psalms 91 is saying is that only those who stays/dwells /resides/abides in the secret place of the most high gets the remaining coverings and protection in of the chapter. It is a lifestyle created for every child of God, it a continuing…

Abiding in the most high is an everyday doing, its the same way people make time for the things they prioritize, like you go to work daily because you need the incomes to sustain your living, treat the secret place like that. Don’t show up when you only need something.

Psalms 91||He that dwelleth
Palms 91||He that dwelleth

How would you feel if you are married or in a relationship with someone and they talk to you only when they need something? We are the bride of Christ; we need the dwelling and communion to sustain our relationship with our groom. Imagine how the Lord feels when you go weeks or months without talking to Him then comes only when you need something.

In these last days we need to have a strong prayer life and what is that prayer life? It’s dwelling in the secret place, your intimacy with Him. Don’t go throughout the day without acknowledging Him, the way you need food for the day is the way you need Him

Majority of the work we do as child of God is in prayer. These promises we read in the bible follows those that dwelleth… look at verse 9 and 10 of Psalms 91…

“Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the most high you dwelling place, 10 no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling”

You need to practically live there, no matter where you go on earth, you live where He lives and He becomes your habitation. Hallelujah!!!

Child of God the top three things you need to protect on your walk with God is your prayer life, life in the word (you need to see the word from God eyes which you activate through prayers) and your worship. These things bring you to dwell (intimacy).

Yes, iron sharpens iron, we need to pray for one another but in these last days you have to secure your own secret place for what is about to come, you need to know Him for yourself. You need your own experience with Him. Those personal encounters strengthen you in hard times.

Nobody else can pray your intimacy or pray you into dwelling because it’s a one on one connection; it’s the same way you stay with people in the physical to build a relationship.

Warfare has to be taught but dwelling is a personal practice, nobody can teach you that. He that dwelleth… speak to Him, say anything, it’s not difficult. The divine covering that comes with your dwelling is so powerful. It activates the remaining chapters in Psalms 91 over you.

Psalms 91 is for that person that does not leave the secret place.
He wants that relationship with you, come to the place of dwelling to know Him and become more like Him. Come and dig to drink from the fountain of life.
