As a man thinketh

One of the most important aspects in this battle to regain control of your thought processes is to be conscious of what you are thinking about or pops up on your mind. As a man thinketh

As a believer in Christ Jesus, you are responsible for your own thought life and no one else will be held accountable for the thought you allow to simmer on the back burners of your highly productive brain.

It is true that some of your actions may be prompted by peer pressure, and it is just as true that some of the words you speak might be a justifiable reaction to another person’s influence, however, only you have the authority to determine what goes on between your two ears.

Often, we give ourselves healthy boundaries for the actions we choose to speak to others. However, the boundaries that we set for ourselves must not be limited to those two areas, creating mental boundaries is also a part of our quest to live a healthy life. Although your mind might be a secret, cavernous place, it still needs specific boundaries within which to operate.

The thought that you choose to think on a specific day will determine your attitudes and mood for the rest of the day. A thought always precedes an emotion, remind yourself daily that a solid thought becomes an authoritative emotion before it is ever expressed through your mouth.

You are what is in your mind. As a man thinketh.

Mean while, every word that you speak has its conception in your mind, the birthing room of every emotion and every conversation is found in the Petri dish of your mental choices.

Again, your emotions originate as thoughts and your words tend to follow your emotions or feelings, so the processing sequence goes like this: thought – feelings or attitude – action or spoken words. That’s why the bible says…

Romans 12:2
[2]And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

We are repeatedly taught about our spiritual life, there is emphasis on our physical or material life. However, there’s little or no teaching about our mental life and life dynamics- the epicenter of everything. The mind is the man, where the mind goes the man goes. As a man thinketh in his heart so he…( quote proverbs 23:7

Thinking is living; thinking is everything and can solve or resolve anything that is why meditation will always be medication.

Nothing changes in your life until your life mind changes. You must reprogram your mental software with the word of God because without proper renewing of mind, there will be no life transformation or elevation to kingdom life of higher purpose.

Today is the day to reconsider what you’ve being thinking about, and make up your mind.

Today is the day to ask God for His wisdom so that you will be able to live a life with kingdom impact. You are part of God’s incredible and forceful plan so think like it.

Whatever we believe, we will become.

Think of two or three ways in which this truth has manifested in your own life.

You are unstoppable!
