BLOOD – THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
The blood of Jesus.
We have two races in the scriptures, the Jews and non Jews. The Jews had the covenant and the non Jews never had any covenant with God. Majority of us who did not come from the natural Israel are non Jew if we are tracing our natural lineage and bloodline.
The non Jews never had the law or the old covenant, but there where covenants enacted in the bloodline mostly from ignorance while some where made consciously for protection, many of them are the things we now see as cultures and traditions.
The ideas of these traditions came from other spirits that were not God, falsehood and idols that are seeking expression through men. Many of these place bloodlines and individuals in bondage. Sin reigned and no one could help man get free from the bondage he keep getting himself into.
Hebrews 10:1
[1]FOR SINCE the Law has merely a rude outline (foreshadowing) of the good things to come–instead of fully expressing those things–it can never by offering the same sacrifices continually year after year make perfect those who approach [its altars].
The old covenant in the scripture is symbolic of the new covenant, it shadowed everything that was meant to happen with Christ. Why?
The gospel was given to the children of Israel, but they rejected it, so Moses had to by a divine intel get the laws that would guide them same with our ancestors. The law was complete and Holy, but it found fault with man because it was never the real thing and could not save man.
The law identified sin, but never took sin or the power of the sin away, instead it made them more conscious of sin instead of God. Its obvious that man cannot himself, Jesus devised a means to help mankind, by enacting a new covenant that will take away the old covenants and its demand.
To enact a covenant you need a blood…
Where ever there is life there is blood, and the blood is always older than the host carrying it. The blood in our body comes blood comes from our parents and theirs from their parents. When an egg and the sperm come together with 23 chromosomes(where the DNA is transmitted from into the blood) from each of your parents, it creates an enzyme that forms a zygote as they keep multiplying and begin to create organs.
The first organ it creates is the heart, then the rest of the organs. In our DNA is our genetic code which contains the traits, characters, features and personalities that were taken from our parents, now the DNA serves as a voice that tells to the blood, it tells the blood where to put what, the traits to distribute. This is why the blood can bear witness, because it can be traced to your lineage and reveal what you inherited from them.
From this little analogy on the natural perspective of blood, imagine the blood of Jesus, the blood before mankind, the oldest blood of all, what the DNA is carrying and the potentials of this divine blood carrying the true essence of God.
So, God came in the form of a man Jesus to pay the wages for sin which is death.
Romans 6:23
[23]For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord.
How was the blood shed?
Hebrews 9:6-8
[6]These arrangements having thus been made, the priests enter [habitually] into the outer division of the tabernacle in performance of their ritual acts of worship.
[7]But into the second [division of the tabernacle] none but the high priest goes, and he only once a year, and never without taking a sacrifice of blood with him, which he offers for himself and for the errors and sins of ignorance and thoughtlessness which the people have committed. [Lev. 16:15.]
[8]By this the Holy Spirit points out that the way into the [true Holy of] Holies is not yet thrown open as long as the former [the outer portion of the] tabernacle remains a recognized institution and is still standing.
In the days of the old covenant, the sacrifice for sin is being made annually and during the time of these sacrifice…
The people brings their animals, the priest is obligated to go into the first court while the high priest goes into the second court of the tabernacle with a rope tied to his waist in case something goes wrong and also with an animal sacrifice for the people and for himself.
Even with all that no one could go into the Holies of Holies, because it was not known to them.
In the new covenant Jesus became the animal sacrifice (lamb), the high priest and also went into the heavens with His blood and sprinkled it on the mercy seat once and for all.
Hebrews 10:3-6,8
[3]But [as it is] these sacrifices annually bring a fresh remembrance of sins [to be atoned for],
[4]Because the blood of bulls and goats is powerless to take sins away.
[5]Hence, when He [Christ] entered into the world, He said, Sacrifices and offerings You have not desired, but instead You have made ready a body for Me [to offer];
[6]In burnt offerings and sin offerings You have taken no delight.[8]When He said just before, You have neither desired, nor have You taken delight in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings–all of which are offered according to the Law.
Obedience is a paramount for a new covenant believer, what brought about the fall was disobedient. Adam did not obey the instructions and leading of God, they had to use blood to keep him pleased and even God never find pleasure in this blood sacrifice. He desired sons that will worship Him in the Spirit and Truth.
Hebrews 10:9
[9]He then went on to say, Behold, [here] I am, coming to do Your will. Thus He does away with and annuls the first (former) order [as a means of expiating sin] so that He might inaugurate and establish the second (latter) order by means of obedience.
Spiritual law of the blood
Forgiveness: Forgiveness came because of what happened on the cross, what He did we cannot do.
Hebrews 9:22
[22][In fact] under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood, and without the shedding of blood there is neither release from sin and its guilt nor the remission of the due and merited punishment for sins.
With this sin was no longer covered, sin and its consequences were taken away for all that will believe the finished work of Christ. So, therefore we do not approach God as sinners but as saints for the nature of God has been taken from us and righteousness has been imputed.
We don’t come in prayer with guilt because our past, present and future sins has been forgiven. We come with thanksgiving, thank you Father for the forgiveness of sin, that sin no longer holds us bound. This does not give you license to go on sinner, it is the license to be conscious of God and the spirit within us instead of sin.
Atonement: Atonement is the covering sin, this kind of offering never takes away sin but keeps covering it so that the wrath of will pass over the man presenting the offering, because wherever there is sin, blood is required.
Leviticus 14:31
[31]As he can afford, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, together with the cereal offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before the Lord.
Purification: When Christ sprinkled the blood, He purified the inside of a man so that He can come inside of a man and dwell. We are washed forever by the blood, we have been made and declared Holy be the reason for the blood of Jesus.
Sanctification: Sanctification is in three ways, the first cleansed, called out of darkness unto light. The the second and third is a separation FROM and UNTO, you have been set apart unto Him.
The major challenge many believers have is they believe that they’ve been set apart, but forget that the set apart was unto a calling, which is to follow God and serve Him in His own way and plan and not ours.
Hebrews 10:10,14
[10]And in accordance with this will [of God], we have been made holy (consecrated and sanctified) through the offering made once for all of the body of Jesus Christ (the Anointed One).
[14]For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy.
First John 1:7 said, the more you work in light the more you’re been cleansed.
Justification: A king justifies, a king declares you not guilty, acquitted and set free, Jesus is the lamb, the priest and the king here. Jesus ascended on His throne and declared free from every verdict, because He paid the price for them.
He did everything and only requires you to believe it, see how He pampered us here but the pampering came with a cost, the price only Him paid.
Romans 8:33-34
[33]Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?]
[34]Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?
Access: We have been given the confidence to enter the Holies of Holies through the blood, in the old covenant they stop at the second court, but we have been given access in the place God dwells by the reason of the blood.
Hebrews 10:19
[19]Therefore, brethren, since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into the [Holy of] Holies [by the power and virtue] in the blood of Jesus.
The sacrifice of Jesus tore the veil in the temple, the veil covering the Holies of holies, symbolizing that there is now access into the Holies of holies for all that believes.
Reconciliation: Colossians 1:20
[20]And God purposed that through (by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross.
His death brought reconciliation between God and man, by the sanctification of the blood so now when God sees man He sees Jesus.
John 14:2-3
[2]In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.
[3]And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.
We are not just reconciled with Him, we inherited God and His promises. If in a way you deeply offended your earthly father and felt entitled to leave your father´s house and never come back, but as life may take its course, you had the privilege to reconcile with him again, not just that you would be forgiven, he will give you back everything that was originally for you that was still in his custody.
2 Corinthians 5:18-21
[18]But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him].
[19]It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).
[20]So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.
[21]For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].
Redemption: Jesus purchased us when He shed His blood, He is the payment for our sin. He bought us back by sealing a new covenant of the law of life so that we can be made alive unto God.
1 Peter 1:18-19
[18]You must know (recognize) that you were redeemed (ransomed) from the useless (fruitless) way of living inherited by tradition from [your] forefathers, not with corruptible things [such as] silver and gold,
[19]But [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot.
The law says a life for life, the wages of sin has to be death. He died so that our sin and the consequences had to be taken away.
So we can come into the new covenant and worship the Father in truth and spirit no more in the flesh and the dead works.
He bought back what was valuable that the value had been taken away for nothing. Now we are no longer for ourselves by for the spirit that has bought us.
1 Corinthians 6:19
[19]Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own.
Seals covenants: Covenants are sealed with blood in the old testament Heb 9:19 as well as in the New Testament John 19:28-30. The old sealing shadowed the new covenant sealing by the sprinkling of the blood with water and hyssop.
Object of our faith: The shedding of the blood and the resurrection is how our faith began, because the glorified Christ is our Faith.
The blood is our victory: The blood is an identification that we have triumphed.
Revelation 12:11
[11]And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].
The blood is our identification of victory, because we can now administer the blood by walking in light and this light is the knowledge of the word of God. The word of our testimony here is the confession of the finished work of Christ which is our victory.
Life identity and witness: The blood is the oldest in the human body, because it came from your parents and from theirs, so it continues.
When the egg and the sperm come together with 23 chromosomes each it creates its first blood cell zygote as they keep multiplying it creates the organs.
The DNA which comes through the chromosomes carries the traits and identity from your bloodline. The DNA is the voice of the blood, it tells it what to create, the shape of the body traits and all.
Now imagine what the blood of God did in the new birth, it regenerated and put in you a new nature entirely, the nature of God.
Wiped the old record of you from your nature lineage and gave you a new lineage and identity.
Don’t forget that this is the oldest blood that has ever been and speaks louder than any nature or trait for dis function, accusation. The purest of all blood and carries eternal life.
That’s why the blood can bear witness, because it can be traced to your lineage and reveal what you inherited from them… and I say to you dear siblings in Christ, we inherited God.
The cleansing of the blood of Jesus brought us back alive unto God, we are no longer dead.
1 Corinthians 15:56
[56]Now sin is the sting of death, and sin exercises its power [upon the soul] through [the abuse of] the Law.
You are unstoppable!
Love X Abba.
