We are Christ beings not human beings.
I am not a human being.
I am a Christ being.
Let us break that down…
As a being who has come into Christ and identified with Him in death, resurrection and living by default state is Him has now His whole being in Him, functioning or living outside Him will become identity crisis.
When I say I am a human being, I am identifying with the physical which is not eternal but mortal and passing away, with this identification I am declaring that the finished works never happened to me and I function as mortal man who identifies with death without eternal life. And Christ is not my being.
“State of being” refers to the condition, mode or way in which a person or a thing exists at a particular time. It describes what something is like not what it’s doing. Then in expression it is what you do or where you live from. In this case Christ being my state of being is where i am situated and find expression.
“Being” refers to a person’s identity, nature, and essence as defined by God, this means that a person’s inner nature (being) determines their outward life.
God does not become, He is.
For man:
Being is the root
Doing is the fruit
When our whole being is aligned with God, Godly actions flows naturally the you will know that true transformation is not behavioral modification, but a change of being. This is why we always you that the spirit in us manifest, the life of God in us finds expression because our being, our state of identity/identification has changed into Christ.
The functionality of God being inside of us is what we´ve familiarized, it has become ordinary, so normal that it’s not powerful anymore to our comprehension. An example of this is, someone (a friend or acquaintance) can look at your family and is marveled about some specific things your family does , but to you it wouldn’t look so special because it is common to you and your household.
2 Corinthians 5:21
[21]For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].
How to be responsive to your state of being is to walk habitually with the Holy Spirit, God made this journey solely dependent on Him that the minute you carve your own independence you start walking in another nature. You can function by the spirit (living in love, peace, joy) without Him.
Living in this state of being is possible with the Holy Spirit, we are to know and experience the Holy Spirit for living and not just only for moving powers. We need to increasingly experience the immeasurable power that lives within us.
Our functionality is of the spirit and the spirit is for living. Another fruit that I seen from the person who has embodied the state of Christ is that you stand, see and speak in the position of God, you no longer need to believe because you know, it’s your state, it’s what has been (done) instead of seeing and believing from the human perspective of life.
The immeasurable power within us is not just for miracles or raising the dead, He is for living also. Galatians 5:25 sums it up.
Christ as my state of being entails that anything and everything in Christ and who He is is exactly who I am.
